Setting up and owning a Beauty Business 20+ years ago in Ashburton, “Body n Beauty WORX" was no mean feat, growing it from myself, then one other staff member to eventually a team of 5, moving premises a few times as we grew, building a huge clientele, dedicated to more training as the Beauty Industry evolved gaining a wealth of knowledge and even becoming a qualified ‘Expert’ in the Dermalogica field, training apprentices and encouraging them to fly and have more confidence. I eventually after much consideration made the decision to sell my business and take a bit of a step back, but I needed a challenge and Beauty is my passion and a possible move to Christchurch I decided I wanted to have my own space there.

So these days you will now find me working in beautiful surroundings, upstairs with the talented team at Surreal Hair, 66 Victoria Street, Christchurch.

A bit about me, I have over 25 years experience in the beauty business as a qualified Beauty Thearapist, beauty and skin are my love and passion. I have used many skincare products over the years then about 18 years ago I found Dermalogica who have been an amazing company to work with. I have trained with them over the years to the highest level of EXPERT. Dermalogica’s products have been skin changing for myself and also many of my clients, their products have simplified the daily skincare routine making life a breeze and I’m just loving the results. Dermalogica is used in the Salon where every Pro Facial is customised for you personally and your skins requirements, combined with Peels, Skin Needling or Dermaplaning.

I encourage you to book in for a skin consultation and lets talk about any skin concerns you may have, there is no charge for this service. You now have a choice of Christchurch or Ashburton 2 days a week to see me.

Eyes and brows are also a favorite of mine, your brows frame the face while giving you personality and style. Waxing, pedicures and manicures are other services offered, or maybe just book yourself in for a 2 1/2 hour pampering session.

Every time you walk through the doors at Surreal you are greeted with a smiling face, always be assured of privacy knowing you will be made to feel comfortable during your treatment and walk out afterwards feeling revived, rejuvenated and ready to face the world again.
